Friendly Wholesale was founded in 1950 by George E.F. Selders as a general merchandise company. In 2008 Friendly Wholesale was purchased by Joann Davidson, George's daughter, providing the second generation of great sales and service and celebrating 72 years in business. In 2022 Friendly Wholesale Company was purchased by Pitt Specialty Supply, Inc. and continues to specialize in janitorial and food service disposables.
